Technology target: liquid solid separation to reduce storage

The machine designed to separate the solids present in the two-phase pomace or in olive paste obtains a palable fraction that can be used in sansifici or biogas plants or for composting.

The result of separation improves the management of slurry storage with a reduction in the demand for spaces and containment tanks.

the two-phase pomace or paste is compressed by a screw in a sieve while the solid fraction is compressed by the cochlea towards a terminal part from which it emerges.

The degree of compression is adjusted based on the characteristics of the product by a counterweight.

The flow rate decreases according to the degree of separation (compression regulation).

As a consequence the palable fraction produced has a lower humidity.

The separation yields remain substantially similar, the efficiency varies considerably in relation to the solids content in the incoming product.

The running costs are limited given the high performance of these machines and the reduced energy consumption that limit their operation to a few hours a day even in large companies.
